Samsung next-generation flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S11, is expected to launch in February 2020, and the good news is out and spread across the globe. What we know so far:
Sizes & Colors
According to a very prominent and authentic journalist related to mobile and gadgets, Evan Blass @evleaks, the Galaxy S11 will come in three screen sizes — 6.2 or 6.4, 6.7 and 6.9 inches. Its a notable increase compared to its predecessor this year’s Galaxy S10, which is available in 6.1 inches (Galaxy S10), 6.4 (Galaxy S10+), and 6.7 inches (Galaxy S10 5G).
There is an ambiguity around the nomenclature (method for naming) of these new generation flagship mobiles, and it is expected all three will be available in 5G and LTE variants. If it’s true, the entire lineup would consist of five models in total, making it the biggest launch for Samsung’s Galaxy series.
Describing its feature, Blass said, “all five phones will have curved-edge displays.”

There will not be many color choices expected for S11. Samsung is going to offer the device in Blue, Pink, Black, and White colors, same as S10. No yellow is expected. The S11 may have an Aura glow, which was a hit for Note 10.
Although no further details about the features of the new phone model are known but rumors indicated that the S11 might come with Samsung’s 108-megapixel sensor.
Camera
Samsung is currently the only image sensor vendor that makes a 108MP image sensor for smartphones. Interestingly enough, they’re the ones to have made it, but they are not the ones making use of this technology right now. Until now, only Xiaomi uses it in the Mi Mix Alpha and Mi Note 10/CC9 Pro, and the early results are extraordinarily good. Acknowledging the performance of this latest technology, Samsung will very likely be including a 108MP camera on one of their future smartphones.
The Camera is expected to have advanced zooming capabilities and dubbed as Hubble.
Display
What more we know about the display is S11 is going to have SAMOLED technology, Blass believes. The S11 manufacturer has requested for SAMOLED term trademark in the “Smartphone Displays” category to the Korean Intellectual Property Office. A new trademark gives us the feeling it will be different than previously named Super AMOLED.
Samsung flagship phone always comes up with the best technology of display, thats we know. S10 came up with Dynamic AMOLED, which is composed of OLED panel with HDR10+ support and very high pixel density (526ppi). SAMOLED is going to be one step further. A dynamic refresh rate, improved infinity display is expected, but not much is still known.
