Seattle has become a ghost town!

Amazon has confirmed an employee in Seattle is tested a positive coronavirus. “The employee went home feeling unwell on Tuesday, February 25 and has not entered Amazon offices since that time,” an official email said.

The online tech company, Amazon.com Inc, informed its staff at Amazon’s South Lake Union office about its employee in the United States who proved to be in contact with grievous coronavirus.

The ones who were in close contact with the person got the alerts this Tuesday in an email. “We notified the employees who we know were in close contact with this employee,” the email says. “The risk of transmission for employees who were not in close contact with this individual is assessed to be, low.”

Two of the company’s employees in Milan, Italy, were also found infected by the virus earlier on Sunday. A spokesperson from the company, Dan Perlet, said both of them are being supported and in quarantine.

Amazon has asked all of its employees to stop non-essential travel. The employees are asked to turn down any unusual travel both with in the United States and outside.

Since the virus is rolling in the United States and other parts of the world, Amazon has asked its employees who are experiencing any symptoms to stay at home to seek medical attention.
